"It is therefore fitting to have several penitential celebrations during Lent, so that all the faithful may have an opportunity to be reconciled with God and their neighbor and so be able to celebrate the paschal mystery in the Easter Triduum with renewed hearts" (The Rite of Penance, No. 13).
Fr. Bob has committed to offering a variety of opportunities for confession during Lent including:
Thursday, March 16 (at 7pm) Communal Penance Service (multiple priests)
Wednesdays, March 29, April 5, April 12 (at 7pm) Individual Confession (Fr. Bob only)
Saturdays (4:30-5pm) Individual Confession (Fr. Bob only)
By appointment Individual Confession (Fr. Bob only or call for other local priests).
Communal penance services allow Catholics to celebrate the sacrament of penance, as authorized by Pope Paul VI in 1973, as a community penitential service and individual confession of sins with absolution. Multiple priests are available to hear confessions at these services.
