Our Mission
The Pastoral Council is a representative body of the people of God from St. Mary’s Lanesville Parish, who in a relationship of shared responsibility with the Pastor and Parish staff, enables the parish to experience itself as a community of faith called to proclaim the Kingdom of God present among us.
Our Vision
Saint Mary, Lanesville has a vision of an open hearted, faith sharing and active Christ-Centered community.  We shall respect each individual as a child of God as we enthusiastically grow in our spirituality!
As such, we shall endeavor to:

• Share the good news of the Gospel to all present and future members of Saint Mary’s.
• Evangelize to the present and future members of Saint Mary’s and reach out to all ages.
• Transmit the Catholic faith and values through effective education to all.
• Reach beyond our parish family by living the Gospel through service to the greater community.
• Look beyond the present to ensure our future.

Our Meetings
The pastoral council meets on the third Thursday of each month (except in the month of December).  All parishioners are welcome to attend. Parish Council meeting minutes are published each month to increase communication between the council and parishioners.
Our Members
The pastoral council is made up of parishioners from St. Mary Catholic Church. Each member is elected for a three-year term and may be re-elected for no more than three consecutive terms. Current council members include:
