The purpose of the Covenant Prayer Group is as follows:

To meet as a charismatic group offering praise to God the Father, our Creator, and to His Son, Jesus Christ, Redeemer and Lord of our lives. To offer prayer, petitions, psalms, and all manner of thanksgiving to the Holy Spirit and through Him for ourselves, St. Mary's Parish and for the needs of others.

To encourage a prayerful environment of harmony and love that reflects the walk of a true Christian Believer and an atmosphere which will serve to encourage the movement and manifestations of the Holy Spirit. To see each member as a gift to the group by the direct call and urgings of the Holy Spirit.

To foster an open invitation to anyone who wishes to pray with us and to accept prayer requests from those unable to attend.
To offer sound Catholic teachings on the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit and to encourage the development of these gifts. To emphasize obedience to doctrine and authority of the Holy Catholic Church.
